Will my employer see my answers? +

Your individual responses remain private unless you provide written consent to share them. If your organization is using DSP Well Check as part of a team program, they receive only anonymous, group-level patterns, never names, personal scores, or individual answers. Your report is delivered directly to your email for you.

Is this going to affect my job? +

This check is designed for reflection and support, not performance evaluation, and it is separate from HR processes. Your individual results remain private, while organizations running an org-wide program receive only anonymous group-level trends. Your honest answers help you better understand your experience and help us keep improving the check.

What exactly does the check measure? +

Six dimensions: how prepared you feel for your role, the quality of supervision and support you receive, how much you feel like you belong at work, your sense of growth and development, signs of exhaustion or burnout, and how you feel about your future in direct support work. 25 questions total, using a simple five-point scale. No right or wrong answers, it measures how things actually are for you, not how they should be.

What do I get at the end? +

A personalized wellbeing profile delivered to your inbox within 48 hours. It shows you how you scored across the six dimensions, what your profile means in plain language, and where professional development or support might help. A real person on our team reviews your profile before it goes out, it is not automated. There are no pass or fail scores. It is a picture of where you are right now.

My organization told me to take this. Do I have to? +

The check is voluntary. Your organization may have encouraged it as part of a workforce wellbeing initiative, and participation remains your choice. If you decide to take it, your individual results are shared directly with you. Organizations receive anonymous group data only after enough people have completed it, with a minimum threshold in place to protect privacy.

Is this free? +

Yes, free for every DSP, always. Whether you take it through your organization or on your own, there is no cost to you. DSP Well Check is offered free by Focus EduSolutions because we believe every direct support professional deserves access to this kind of honest, personalized feedback.

What if my results show I'm really struggling? +

If your responses indicate you are going through something difficult, a trained reviewer on our team reaches out directly, not with a link or an automated message, but with a real response. We do not just flag a score and move on. Your wellbeing matters beyond the profile. Who built this and why should I trust it? +

DSP Well Check is built by Focus EduSolutions, the team behind Hello, It's Me®, an IDD community platform supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The clinical framework behind the check was developed with Dr. Karyn Harvey, Ph.D., Chief Clinical Architect and a nationally recognized expert in IDD and trauma-informed care with over 35 years of experience. This is not a generic HR survey. It was designed specifically for the DSP workforce, by people who understand what DSP work actually involves.
